I’d like to share an interesting ‘still’ captured by the new Humbirdy feeder my husband gifted me for my birthday. Of the many, MANY bird views collected, this is the only one where another image rather surreally hovers just above the fence line.
It reminds me of Presence.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague. He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.” Psalm 91:1-4 BSB
Actually, you might want to just look it up! The entire Psalm talks about some really great stuff! Plum full of promises it is!
Much like the delight of seeing this little fella! It’s like having a tiny bit of rainbow come to visit!
His female counterpart looks entirely different!
To my eyes she matches the cover of a new book I’ve started reading.
It showed up on my doorstep two days ago, a beautiful gift materializing out of the blue! It arrived at a time when discouragement had set in. I cried and cried when I opened the box; Gratitude filled and overwhelmed my heart!
God, You are ever near; thank you for this portion. Thank you for the friend who sent it; thank you for all Your encouragements.
They so cheer my heart and put a smile on my face!
Humble sightings they may be but Momentum grows as they just keep lining up! To some they would seem barely noticeable at all but I certainly do enjoy noting them!
Thank You, Lord, for the season I’m in; for the ways and means of fresh highlights thru which You speak! Proving once again my continual dependency upon You doesn’t wear You out! I find in that alone a whole, whole lot to shout about!
And as I take time to sit real still I’ve noticed some things I might have overlooked before! Thank You, LORD, that these things I’m seeing are matching up with what I’ve been reading! Your word is so very relevant! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
What a privilege it is to sit and REST in Who You are!
To REHEARSE the truths You say about me!
And RESPOND to those truths in faith!
To REMEMBER Your countless provisions!
And just take time to sing my ‘thank you’s’!
Thank You, Lord, for these recent gifts and for the people who loved and so gifted me with them. Such a joy to share with others! May touch points abound as I lean in closer to listen. Bless others thru what I’m able to share here and by the things said and done wherever I might be in person. May Your Presence be a noticeable thing; for I never travel without my Posse!
