Man, is it ever hot!
Parking my truck in a boiling hot parking lot, I hop out to make my way towards the inside of Lowe’s. Heat waves shimmer across the surface of the surrounding asphalt. The mirage effects they generate match some of the things being felt on my insides.
Well, would you look at that?!
I’m in such a rush to get to where it’s cooler, I blow right past and I end up doubling back to take this picture. The name of the company has definitely caught my eye! My mind catches up and begins making a ‘You turn’.
LORD, You’re quite right! I don’t ever work or travel alone! I might be feeling a lot of heat at the moment but You’ve got a plan and are busy accomplishing Your purposes! They’re guaranteed to be for the good, even if things feel down right uncomfortable at the moment!

The glimmer of foil catches my eye. Bending down to get a better gander, I feel a chuckle welling up and it turns to laughter!

A grand and glorious day awaits upon the horizon! The likes of which is certain to surpass all other earthly occasions! You and I will get to see and be with Jesus and the things of this world will fade away to be replaced with Joy upon joy upon joy, everlasting!
