Bought some new duds here recently.
Style? …a bit different.
Colors? …decidedly masculine.
Line? …life changing, significant.
Hope they won’t be too drab on me!

Their bright pop of Bold
catches my eye
and gives me the
strangest feeling.
The Message conveyed
successfully tags.
A critical reference
is made.
Its scope and range
underpin everything;
come together,
fill in, and complete.
It’s a view of the
Bigger Picture
down here
and are a match
to the boots
on my feet!

I won’t lie to you.
The battles can get fierce!
No one can entirely foresee
the extent of just how
sketchy or vicious.
Betrayals, relentless.
The infidel, iron.
Expect no quarter
from the enemy.
Prey is all
that’s on his mind.
Darkness can be
one heck of a coach.
but don’t fall
to the temptation
to turn back,
hide or run!
Time to dig in…
dig in deeper!
Whatever the cost
and whatever
it becomes…

I feel the inward
tug and pull,
the necessity of
Teamwork involved
that continually salvages
my spirit thru Holy Spirit.
In spite of pitfalls
and efforts that
self-sabotage
I can’t afford
to loose sight
of these promises!
For such is the work
