Continuing some thoughts from yesterday…
I can’t help but wonder…
’…when one has the faith of a mustard seed,
what might they be able to accomplish?’
How many other damaged, orange butterflies
are to be given the power within to rise
with fresh healing in their wings today?
By the power of Jesus’ name! Amen!
“But for you who revere My name,
the Sun of Righteousness will rise
with healing in His wings.
And you will go free,
leaping with joy like calves
let out to pasture.”
Malachi 4:2 NLT
The sun has indeed risen!
A Touch of Autumn is in the air!
‘Tis the season to gather in.
What will be the harvest this year?
For quite some time
I’ve fallen silent,
overcome by dejection and grief.
I withdrew from writing,
a bit confused by the dark
and unable to pick up on
any clear or specific direction,
life became a bit colorless,
upside down,
turned inside out.
Poor me!

Step Three
Day16
Yes, LORD,
pour me!
I’d wandered off track.
A host of negatives crowded in.
I can share the beginning of my turning.
For some it might be
a matter of making
a quick U-y
but I’d worked myself
into such a tight spot
the remedy came about looking
much more like a
Three Point Turn!
“ARISE
from the depression
and the prostration in which
circumstances have kept you –
rise to a new life!
SHINE!
Be radiant with the glory of the Lord,
for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
FOR BEHOLD,
darkness shall cover the earth,
and dense darkness all peoples,
but the Lord shall arise upon you
and His glory shall be seen on you!”
Isaiah 60:1-2 AMPC
Upon rising a week ago,
Wednesday,
I felt an urgency
to be outside and moving;
breathe in the fresh air,
collect a better thought or two.
This time of year
is such a struggle and fight for me!
I’m not alone in this battle,
the encroach and surround
of gathering darkness.
I know there are others
who feel the tight squeeze
of deep shadow and angst!
It’s been this way for me
for as long as I can remember.
But right now I hear Jesus instructing,
‘It’s time to lift the Sword
I’ve given you!’
“Blessed be the Lord, my Rock,
Who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.”
Psalms 144:1 BSB
That’s how come I ended up
pic’ing this posy! 💛🕊
Negative thoughts become like too many cats! 😳
SCAT!
The loudest voices heard during certain given seasons…
…can plum drive a person batty
with their negative tones and connotations!
BUT GOD!
☝️…loves to show up!
He delights to assist!
He will lead and guide you!
May His heart
speak loudest and best!
He fights against any enemy
attempting to lie to us!
He tenderly exposes
these areas
to realign and protect,
to preserve and provide…
His desire is our best…
so don’t try to judge!
There’s More yet to come!
May His intimate and wise
timing and counsel
triumph over ALL…
past, present, and future!
May His blessing abound
as we walk thru each test!
Our Life is now found
tucked in the base of His Tree!
His involvement in this
cannot be overstated!
And so very much like
Moses-in-a-Basket,
He is quite busy orchestrating
our speed, flow and direction!
Every moment so carefully held
in the pierced palms
of His hands!
The intent is to cultivate
the Fresh Bloom He has
and sees for our life!
In returning to Him
with quiet trust
we’ll find our strength!
New growth as it comes
leaves us feeling
stretched out and vulnerable,
downright naked!
This is truly the ‘sweet spot’…
….as we are Covered by prophetic portent!
The moment becomes full and ready
and then God moves to establish
what’s already been worked out!
Our entire life’s story
is revealed to be HIS Story!
Glory!
“You will see with your eyes;
scratch your head in wonder!
Bow down in your heart…
as you recognize
I AM Sovereign!”
A Gemstone in the Desert!
For the glory and honor of Jesus Christ,
Who continually calls us out of the dark
and into His marvelous light.
“So God has given both
His promise and His oath.
These two things are unchangeable
because it is impossible for God to lie!
Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge
can have great confidence
as we hold to the hope that lies before us.
This hope is a strong
and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
It leads us through the curtain
into God’s inner sanctuary.”
Hebrews 6:18-19 NLT
LORD, You so often choose the things that I wouldn’t, then somehow strengthen my ankles to help me walk thru them. You have shown Yourself to be ever faithful, ever present….and You excel in the ways of progressive healing! I want to say thank You for all the work You’ve done in my life. I appreciate all Your patience and careful planning. You are faultless when it comes to the Art of Design! There’ve been a slew of times I’ve been a bit slow on the uptake. Even so, every day, I have experienced first hand the immeasurable benefits of Your goodness and grace! You’re the best part of life and the living of it! Thank You for loving on me…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
