In reaching out to those I love I hear a soft whisper to share what I hold on my lap. It seems a bit unusual and far too personal to be sharing the notes I’ve jotted down. Perhaps, though, it’s not a case best served for me to err on the side of caution.
To most it might not look like much. My activities have been more ’inside’ than out. To tell you the truth it’s been kind of a tough week…but to see that you’d have to read between the lines. There’s a glimmer of hope, so that part’s good. Hope that my heart might be opening itself up to some Advance Learning. Kinda like an itty bitty bud, coming to life in the springtime. It’s a work that s-l-o-w-l-y unfolds, then bursts forth suddenly! Powered by a Force not entirely seen or understood, Who works in accordance with His Own timeline and His Own plan. There’s only one thing I know for certain. I can’t take any of the credit!
Nothing touches our life without God’s say so and I find that in His pursuit for our best His is a rather wild and untame love, fearlessly radical in most of its expressions. Every good and perfect gift comes down from our Father in Heaven and, unfortunately, in a world geared toward its own creature comforts, we can be too quick to poorly judge, prone to cheer on and spout ‘repay evil for good’! This week has held countless courses on “How to Trust God More” and “How to Love Like Jesus”. None of which I would be able to navigate apart from Scripture and His Own Personal Example.
Beloved reader, I can’t claim to fully comprehend all the why’s, the where’s, and the what for’s, but this picture so reminds me of you…it reminds me of me…it’s a picture of us…filled to the brim and overflowing; dancing freely in the rich, vibrant promises of God! Each Grace-Filled Stroke bringing to life The Living Gospel! Releasing beautiful colors into the world much like the rainbow!
God go before you, friend, and follow you close behind! His hand of favor rests upon you! You are His precious child! A creation He delights to call His Own! He considers you to be His Masterpiece! An Ever Maturing Reflection of His Heart! The only form of Jesus some folks will ever meet!
Grace upon grace upon grace upon grace…be lavished upon and be at work in and thru you today and every day! I’m making certain to ask the same for me!
Father God, we give to You our battle burdens: the heaviness, the pain, the turmoil of doubt and fear, the uncertainty and confusion, the anxiety and stress that are pressing; those particular discouragements that get shaped by unchanged circumstances. No, Your arm is not too short, and, yes, You’re attentively watching and listening! That in itself is truly a Wonder! Thank You for being so patient and for not being distant at all but in truth being actually quite near! In the hot mess of our own ways of thinking it can be easy to miss Your answers for the wisdom they are as You so methodically go about cultivating in us the character of Jesus Christ!
Deep calls to deep and we are deeply touched.
Holy Spirit, fall fresh on us! Impart an increase in Kingdom awareness! Help us to move forward boldly with outstretched arms!
Thank You, Father, for using our circumstances to invite us to experience more of Your Son, Jesus! We bask in the power His Resurrection! In Him alone our problems turn into blessings! May we continue to walk out the doing of good and learn to breathe and relax in the peace of greater trust! Thank You for the gifts You will give us this day as we continue to move and breathe and have our being…in Jesus’ name!
