“As the Lord of Hosts lives,
before whom I stand…”
(1 Kings 18:15 HCSB)
How does one put
into mere mortal terms
the deep inhale of Spirit
followed by an even deeper
exhale of soul,
the influx of
Supreme Awareness…
circumference, volume,
depth, width,
breadth and height…
when I, myself,
barely grasp an nth of
The Settling
and can only exclaim,
“You came,
You saw,
You spoke,
You changed.”
Yes. I am changed!
“For God made Christ,
Who never sinned,
to be the offering for my sin,
so that I could be made right
with God through Jesus Christ.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT

The permanence
of Your shed Blood
to seal this Covenant
brings a fresh squeeze
to my calloused heart,
releasing a stream of tears
that helps to flush out
my clogged up ears.
Thank You for being my Savior!
Entirely wild,
by no means tame,
passionately fierce,
unstoppable, even!
Laying aside Your Own heart’s
welfare and safety!
Where on earth
would I be now
had You not come
to lay Yourself down
to claim me?!

“For God was in Christ,
reconciling the world to Himself,
no longer counting
people’s sins against them.”
2 Corinthians 5:19 NLT
“For even when we were dead
and doomed in our many sins,
God united us into the very life of Christ
and saved us by His wonderful grace!”
Ephesians 2:5 TPT
While the world abounds
with drama and quandary,
and even in church,
questionable motives
can cramp a shared space,
conflicts in style divide,
and insecurity postures
and shouts, ‘boundaries!’.
by plugging in
the revealed set of terms,
those Largesse Qualities
for which every day
You’re becoming
better known,
I find rest from
the conflicts
I’m too easily
prone to carry.
At the speed of light, doubled,
times the measure of sound
You break through set barriers
to both settle and confound
and form a Holy Perimeter,
adoration and praise.
Worship, as a lifestyle,
chases lesser things away.
“Don’t grieve God.
Don’t break His heart.
His Holy Spirit,
moving and breathing in you,
is the most intimate part of your life,
making you fit for Himself.
Don’t take such a gift for granted!”
Ephesians 4:30 MSG
How vast the immeasurable richness
of Your Kingdom!
It’s value, esteemed,
will lead thru many
an open doorway!
“And when we are fully restored,
You will rejoice and take delight
in every offering of our lives
as we bring our sacrifices
of righteousness
before You in love!”
Psalms 51:19 TPT
Lord Jesus,
I seek a page from Your Notebook.
Help me to not be afraid to embrace
that blessed state of being meek.
It takes courage
to not be so set to self guard
and self protect.
You have promised
that I am not alone,
that I am entirely covered,
and that YOU
are on The Throne!
“The Angel of the Lord
encamps around those who fear Him,
who revere and worship Him with awe,
and each of them He delivers.”
Psalm 34:7 AMPC

“You stoops down
to listen as I pray,
encircling me,
empowering me,
and showing me
how to escape.”
(Same verse using a
slightly edited TPT version)
Not only that…
but You offer a reward.
“Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.”
Matthew 5:5 NKJV
In Your eyes meekness
is not seen as deficient.
And it certainly isn’t
considered a quality
that’s weak!
It requires Presence!
It takes great courage
to walk as if never been hurt,
to fully trust in Your Plan,
no matter how is sounds,
what it might look like
or feel like,
knowing that each
is held secure,
in the palms of
both Your Hands!
I can see how
humility is key!
Flexibility,
based upon Word,
is highly esteemed!
And thru much prayer
and careful consideration
Perspectives can change,
of that I am the evidence of!
It can happen
to anyone,
at anytime,
anywhere…
In the blink of an eye!
Hallelujah! Amen!
Meek:
Enduring injury with patience
and without offense

“Make your own attitude
that of Christ Jesus,
Who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
as something to be used for His own advantage.”
Philippians 2:5-6 HCSB
Instead He emptied Himself
to take on the form of a servant!
“For it is God who is working in you,
enabling you both to desire
and to work out His good purpose.
Do everything without grumbling and arguing,
so that you may be blameless and pure,
children of the Most High
who are faultless in a crooked
and perverted generation,
among whom you shine
like stars in the world.”
Philippians 2:13-15 HCSB
