I just love to go out for a walk! No matter how I might be feeling when I start out I always come across a little something that jumpstarts a great thought!
Case in point …this piece of litter.

Anything more than that is conceited. I don’t know about you but it’s just too easy to fall into the trap of taking a lot of good things for granted. There’s a tendency instead to focus on what’s wrong and all the problems. I particularly like the way Billy Graham put it. “We should think of the blessings we so easily take for granted: Life itself; preservation from danger; every bit of health we enjoy; every hour of liberty; the ability to see, to hear, to speak, to think, and to imagine all this comes from the hand of God.”
Sound counsel indeed!
Yes, God loves and cares for us deeply. Every single detail matters. There’s no such thing as luck or coincidence. He’s way too big a God for that! A lot of thought has gone into creation and each of us is a page in His Story. So while He collects all our tears in a bottle it’s our cultivated attitude of gratitude that gets us turned around! It can pull us back from the edge of anything! A more humble approach belongs to His name and it is no small thing to be covered by it! He is worthy all day long of praise! For He encompasses every good thing in our life!
I’d like to learn a lesson from these crabs. At first all I saw was the pluff mud. But use your fingers to pinch the screen and expand. When I realized what it was I was really looking at I stopped to squat and take a pic. So precious they were! My heart felt squeezed! They look like they’re raising up praise hands!
