A Better Look at What You See in Front of You

A Better Look at What You See in Front of You

This little something got stuck to the sole of my shoe yesterday. An upsetting thing had happened in some final moments and I cried as I drove home after having spent a joyous day playing with our two youngest grandchildren. Yah felt my sorrow and moved in close with a timely reminder. There wasn’t any way I could miss it because it was placed smack daub in front of me! A large semi truck came alongside my much smaller one, shifted lanes and pulled right in front of me. Splayed in large letters across its back doors, “In God We Trust”! Thank You, Sir, for reminding me!

We can’t always shield and protect the ones we love and care about from all the lies in this world or the bad stuff going on…but to Jehovah Jirah we can run…to our Heavenly Father we can pray! What began with salty tears ended up with worship and praise! Our God is so much greater; a safe and mighty refuge! There’s no place better to deposit our trust and absolute faith! There’s a mystery all His own; He owns a way of quietly flipping the script!

So this morning as I rise to begin a brand new day, I think of friends like you and pray over the situations you might face. My prayer is that you’ll taste of Yah’s grace, experience the power of His worth and, in so doing, find strength. May your thoughts run wild with Biblical truths! May your heart be set ablaze by a fresh wave of passion for Christ!

May your confidence be placed entirely in Him and in doing just that may you find great courage!

May you find yourself thriving as the wildflowers do, growing freely…extravagantly, even! You have been shaped breathtakingly beautiful in bud, blossom and leaf! May your roots, fully charged, carry the power of the ‘son shine’! May you find security firmly established in the Father’s care and rejoice and be glad in your dependency upon Him!

You’ll not understand all the what’s, why’s, who’s and wherefore’s….just gaze with awe into the deep well and embrace His mystery! Your faith, belief, soul and life are precious to Him and full of His glory and splendor! And you…yes, YOU…so deeply cherished and loved…are being used by Him to make a difference!

“The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit to be welcome with a jealous love…” James 4:5 AMPC

So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 TPT

“I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:4-5 ESV
